Central government finances

The reports on funds statement for central government finances, balance of central government finances, central government debt and liquid assets describe central government finances. In these reports, central government finances mean the financial entity comprising on-budget entities and off-budget. entities

From January 2022 onwards, the funds statement for central government finances is presented on the basis of the revised elimination procedure introduced in 2020. The calculation consists of the eliminated calculation of central government agencies, eliminated calculation of off-budget entities and the combined eliminations of the two. The elimination covers the impacts of income and expenses and mutual receivables and debts.

The instructions for interpreting the funds statement will be updated during this year.
