The Exploreadministration.fi service provides data via an application program interface as well. The API can be used to access data on the central government’s budget and actual financial figures from 1998 onwards. The level of detail of the data corresponds to the data available from consolidated accounting. The data are updated monthly at around the 20th of each month, with the exception of the period after the turn of the year when financial statements are prepared, during which time there are delays in the updating of the data until late March.
