The State Treasury’s proposal for the final central government accounts for the fiscal year 2019 have been completed and was signed on 27 March 2020. According to the central government’s income and expense account the state’s expenses of 53.8 billion euros, 42.1 billion euros was expenses from payment transfers for example transfers and grants paid to social security funds, local government and households. Expenses from payments transfers increased by approximately 495 million euros from the previous year.
