At the end of April, the cumulative income and expense balance of the state budget economy was -2.2 billion euros, while the income and expense balance at the same time last year was -5.2 billion euros. Compared to the same time last year, revenues increased by 3.6 billion euros, and expenses by 0.6 billion euros.
The growth in revenues was influenced by the dissolution of the Valtion asuntorahasto and its incorporation into the state budget at the beginning of 2026. As a result, other operating income increased by EUR 1.5 billion, and transfer economy revenue from central government increased by EUR 2.4 billion.
